Softer with the 550 spring rate felt bad, with the HR race springs up front, I ran with the front rebound....
Koni's aren't state of the art shocks setting at Barber .
High a spring rate the Koni shock can handle if re valved.

I'm running rce wagons on dspecs right now, which are nice and firm, but I'm curious to know what springs/rates might give a bit more smoothness on rough roads while still giving a nice solid feel. Similar to a BMW type feel really.

rate is due to the multi-link setup.But also note how soft the spring rate is up front on the macstrut that the material of this spring is the same as the ZSP springs)
Front: 195 lb/in
Rear: 505 lb/in

E36 M3:
Weight 3175
Horsepower: 240 hp @ 6000 rpm
Torque: 236 ft-lbs. @ 3800 rpm
E46 M3:
Curb weight: 3415 lbs.
Torque: 262 ft-lbs. @ 4900 rpm
Horsepower: 333 hp @ 7900 rpm

I just removed the suspension from my 2003.5 M3 this weekend. Front and rear springs and shocks. All in perfect working order. No bends/cracks and no accidents on the car.
Pics posted tomorrow when they are all cleaned up.
