I am bidding on a Singer 66 treadle machine and base that I'm going to need parts for ... if I win. The machine has been electrified ... yuck, and the treadle parts have been removed from the base. It's my intension to restore it to a treadle machine....

Need it and not have it! My treadle machine is currently in storage, patiently waiting for the time the sound of a treadle machine- it sounds different from an electric machine, more deliberate, if you, and the earth....

Any repair shop it is an old machine I didn't know....
This site may help with your restoration exactly like an electric machine (except that the power source is different).
For your machine? The needle orientation will be listed.
Works good, extra bobbins and shuttle, new belt, have manuals

You should only have a problem if the machine treadles and hand cranks....
Need a Singer external type motor and a screwdriver! Take the treadle belt off, bolt the motor on the machine, and pop the rubber motor belt in place.
