I was using Google Voice with the Visual Voice Mail with no problems for several months.
This past month I suddenly had problems receiving notifications that I had a voice mail. I'd see a missed a call, then 6-10 hours later, I'd get a voice mail indication...

But im also this is the first i have actually opened the voice mail from the app since the FR.
Im getting the actual voice mail.
And found bupkis for phone call or voice mail notifications.
