I was recently told that if parts used in making a product are not from America, then it isn't an American manufactured good.
Do you agree with this?
I know my answer. I'm curious what the overall opinion might be.

This may be a strange question, but a friend of mine (an acer fan) assured me that Apple uses Acer to for their display. I have not been able to confirm (or deny) this assertion? Does somebody here know one way or the other?

Just checked my 15" unibody.
My MacBook Pro panel is a B154PW04 V6, manufactured by AU Optronics not seen any manufactured by Acer, but it's certainly not impossible.
Not all of them, certainly.

I have a manufactured home as a cottage and it has that wallpaper covered drywall that is done at the factory and then has a narrow strip stapled on over the seams. Has anyone ever tried to paint over the top of this?? Was wondering if that paper will...

We didn't use primer and only have a few very very small spots where the pain came off .
I've painted an entire house like that! You can get away without using a primer as long as your not really abusing the walls .

AM Pyro makes some ....
Albert makes some really good stuff and his prices are on-par with what you get, but for me it's a bit much .
But personally it's too expensive for me.
Just about the only ones of those that I've used any decent amount of is LBS... .
