We just noticed our japanese maple bloodgood wilting leaves, we have not fertilized and have not done anything different in that part of the yard. Can we save the tree?

In my experience....
I have not seen climbers that are capable into trees.
Attachments That's a huge Maple Tree picture, the large tree looks like a Norway Maple.

Joe My suspicion is that....
I'm curious how different the bark is when older/larger.
maple should show a close up of the bark as that is what's most amazing about the tree maple a lot in my forestry work but seldom larger than 5" DBH.
I have a few maple trees that budded out this spring,and it looks like they got frost. Will those trees live? Will they get leaves again this year? The bottom is growing new shoots the trees are about 3 yrs. old and were planted as seedlings.
