There is a HUGE difference between the situation with Green and Warner than with Warner and Bulger. The difference is that Green wasnt a two-time MVP and Super Bowl MVP, while Warner is. Say Brett Farve got injured and the Packers were playing poorly. Then, Doug Pederson comes in, and they start winning. There's no way you don't go back to Favre, no matter how well Pederson was playing. source

I know Holt doesn't really add much to our team at this point in his career but I wouldn't mind having him on the team in case one of our starters were to go down with an injury. He knows the system well so what's the hurt in signing him to a 1-year deal at the veteran minimum and bringing him into camp? If he doesn't work out then we can cut him and there will be no harm doing. If Holt was willing to be a part of this team knowing he won't get a whole lot of playing time then IMO the best idea would be to release Rashied Davis have Iglesias take the WR special teams role and move Holt into Iglesias' position from last year which would be the inactive gameday receiver. source

I do not see TE being a major weakness for us to be honest. I would be ok going forward with Fasano and Haynos and maybe drafting someone late. source
