Why is the rest mass of a photon zero?
Curious question, if I accelerate a charged particle with respect to me it emits radiation. If I accelerate along with the accelerated charged particle does it still emit radiation with respect to me? I would think not but would like to hear others response.

Mass music in a language different from rest of Mass?
See, its not the hymns that bug me, its the Mass music. I can get over not being able to sing the hymns though I like them.

Have children's Masses been around for a while and are they distracting?
There weren't children's Masses before Vatican 11. The Churches rightly realized that these children were intelligent enough to learn the Mass, even though it was in Latin.
Now, when they have children's Masses they don't believe that they can understand the Mass, but have to put childish homilies and such in it. I think they believe that the children will relate to the Mass, more but they are wrong. It is silly to underestimate children's intelligence in this day and age, and give them pablum instead of the truth.
My opinion, but every time I hear parishes pandering to children with children's Masses I say good luck! You would be better having a little conference and teach them the correct Catholic dogma and what the Mass is really about!

Mass Effect 2, why no hype from GGD?
For me, I still haven't beaten Dragon Age, and my wallet is still empty from the holiday season, so I just haven't been anticipating anything really, especially another BioWare game, since I haven't beaten the last one I bought. It also seems like there hasn't been much in the way of a PR hype campaign from BioWare themselves. I haven't really noticed them doing much to draw attention to it.

Is it just me or am I missing something with mass effect?
For me Mass Effect started off really slow and the combat was somewhat confusing. Eventually though I really started to enjoy the game!
