Lion runs fine.
I have a mid-2009 13" MBP - 2.26 Core 2 Duo.
I'm using a mid 2k7 Santa rosa machine which can actually use 6 It won't install as fast as its short little legs will go.
Are incorrect here.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.
I think as long as the SSD's interface is a SATA then it would be okay that should work .

:-( If you have a 2008 MBP, that's not true.
Non-unibody, up to 6GB will accept.
Basically, if it's a unibody MBP, it can use up to 8GB.
