I have never made meatloaf. Like never ever. LOL so I'm looking for some good meatloaf recipes And preferrably I'd like to make it with ground turkey. TIA!!

I grew up absolutely hating meatloaf, like to the point where I would sit the binder, and it's just a little less meatloaf-y (and more burger-y) than it should be.
Likes theirs plain on top.

Can someone tell me how to avoid having a greasy mess on top of my meatloaf?
I use meatloaf mix (veal, pork. beef) add the rest of ingrediants and form a loaf.
But when I take it out of the oven, an hour or so later, there is a pool of grease on top of...

Hi, I never cook my meatloaf in a loaf pan.
I use a baster on my meatloaf - I take it out of the oven several times over the baking to baste out the grease.

If you are traveling on Carnival Cruise Lines DO NOT ORDER THE MEATLOAF It is disgusting. I'm pretty sure my dog wouldn't even had eaten it.
I love Carnival Cruise Lines but the Meatloaf needs to be taken off the menu

Really, meatloaf is pretty good if you use the seasoning "frost" the meatloaf with mashed....
Well, that's a tender subject.
The end pieces (and if they don't, shun them), instead of making a large meatloaf, make several small it, now.

Hi All,
You might already know this tid-bit but my mother shared this hint with me and it made the best meatloaf ever,creamy. Work with your regular recipe but add a little buttermilk. Yummy. It takes the breadcrumbs to another level.
