Probably very few people are like me... I was born in Taiwan and didnt come to the US until after high school. I was lucky and got accepted by a US med school. I thought that once I pass 36 years old, I do not need come back to Taiwan to service the military...

The day you promote to Major is supposed to be 6 years from the date you graduated medical school, correct?
Mine is off by over a month, as I graduated May 6 2006, and they have me as June 8 2006.

Just for the record, and it's a small point.
They're already on active duty and 2) their graduation tends to be a little earlier than most med schools tends to be a little earlier than most med schools, IIRC.
