I've set autoplay to "Take no action" on all devices and file types in Windows 7, but Windows Media Player 12 seems to completely ignore this. I can't find a setting in any of the media player options either.
How do I prevent Windows Media Player 12 autoplaying...

Hi, What do you mean when you say deactivate windows media player? EA sports is not compatible with Windows 7 refer the link mentioned below, it is not linked with Windows Media Player.

Might be of interest for anyone waiting for Windows 8 before upgrading.
Certainly looks like yet another reason to stay with 7. I reckon 8 will become the new Vista, especially if unsuccessful in the tablet world.
