I think it is at least worth getting, but with standard (and exellent) medical treatment (including physical therapy), I have no pain and good caused by sitting endless....

For second course I was told by doctor to use Nurofen Plus, there was no way I was going through the pain they will offer you this as pain relief, although the dosage given in hospital is much higher.

I like Rathmell....
Fenton's book is great for understanding imaging associated with procedures .
It's by no means the "Bible" of Pain, but I like it.
Concise and image based would be Rathmell's guide of Interventional Pain and Regional Anesthesia.
Just wondering if many of u guys and gals out there that had a choice between exams made which choice and why. I'm a BC anesthesiologist with a pain fellowship and will must likely drop my calls to take a pain position. Will be sitting for the boards ...

The ABPM exam is an alternate pathway that was designed to fill a need when anesthesiology overtly discriminated against anyone that wanted a pain fellowship or to take the special qualifications in pain....

My suggestion would be to give Mom pain meds when she complains of pain and to keep avoiding conversations which anger her.
