What do you think, western companies patenting food and medicinal plants that existed for thousands of years? as their own created instead of existing for hundreads of thousands of years (eg: neem and turmeric are patented). So in future they can claim...

What they are doing is producing altered seeds or plants made in a scientific environment that are not the same as the natural untouched plant....
Unethical, immoral and should NOT be allowed They are not patenting plants of a thousand years.
