Anyone see the commercial for slippers you put in the microwave to warm them? That skeeves me out totally! Imagine the smell and the germs!!! All smells are particulate, so imagine all those germs spread all over your microwave and kitchen!!

Just about every morning I have 1 cup oatmeal "bulk from farmers market" I microwave it with water for 2 minutes, then I add scoop chocolate protein and handful of frozen blueberries.

The only difference when it comes to cooking in the microwave as opposed to the stove top is the overall quality....
I do worry about nuking food.
Nothing wrong with it i nuke my oats every AM .

I recently discovered that microwave popcorn is a giant scam.
You can put plain kernels in a paper lunch bag and put it in the microwave and it'll pop just like a microwave popcorn bag.
Not all of the kernels pop, but you can take out the popped corn ...

Popcorn, but microwave popcorn bags not only costs more but there are concerns with the chemicals microwave popcorn popper.
