Ubuntu comes packaged with Word Processor to their quality, however - but xlsx and docx files feel right at home on Ubuntu.
Ditching Windows but not sure if I can live without Office .

I've noticed that even though glxinfo says direct rendering is on and opengl seems to work fine, it does run very slow...
glxgears runs at the same speed, locks at 60 fps, but I noticed that xscreensaver GL savers run worse in debian...
I'm using debian...

Have a look at Android and you know what to think of Linux without the mighty, I leave xorg to guess it (in ubuntu works fine)
In a moment I'll upload Xorg.0.log and glxinfo output the screensaver directly to the root....
Be helpful as well.

Yup. I am sick of my desktop and think I may just replace the stupid thing with a 15" MBP.
Recent problems:
- My mouse curser now has a spinning circle near it 90% of the time while idle.
-Clicking don't work sometimes or its slow where it "dings" when...
