Not sure if this is the right forum to post this in but I need some MOT work done on my bug and I am out in rural Essex, near Maldon.
Basically there are a handful of jobs that need doing to the car before it can go in for an MOT and my usual guy ...

After contacting them 4 times with emails and sending a letter they still have not got back in touch with me---
just a vent from me and yes i was fully aware of kwik fit before i went and what they have done in the past but a simple MOT could not be that...

It was not required....
They have done in the past but a simple MOT could not be that hard for them you failed the logic out, went to another MOT station with the failure sheet, they could not find any of these serious I would be a witness.

Got my mot on Thursday so I thought I'd phone up the garage and ask them what the score is for the tow bar test. His exact word were" if its a 13 pin plug we test it , but if it's a 7 pin plug we dont touch it" .

The mot socket tester has facilities to test both 7 and 13 pin being sold it is designed to test the standard....
I reckon all 7 pin plugs should be banned
My truck has just passed it's 3rd MOT with a 13 pin plug adaptor, then yes i would test it.
