Can I use an SLI connector from MSI in a GIGABYTE motherboard? Are they standard?
Actually I've done this but somehow NVidia control doesn't show "Enable SLI" choice.

Consult the Mobo's.
Anything you need to do to enable SLI via the Gigabyte mobo (ie a Bios setting).

I've ordered the Asrock H67M-GE (currently out of stock but ordered due to the current sale offer) along with a Xeon E3-1220 . As you can see from the second link it's almost identical to an i5-2400 but on the Asrock site for the mobo there's no Xeon'...

The mb site doesn't list any xeon E3s by a significant amount It "should" work from a technical point of view .
If they were compatible? the mobo was on sale & works on i5-2400.

I've been on the fence concerning CPU upgrade for awhile now and with this MC deal ending today I may finally hop off of the fence and into the pasture of 1155 sweetness.
