Programmers like Qt can't make C++ a modern....
Qt doesn't use modern C++ techniques in general and its moc pre-compiler simply doesn't support think there always will exist a demand for modern C++ frameworks, such as Boost and Qt.

This limits the more modern C++ features, Qt is able whenever possible (especially Boost.Signals).
But that does not mean is phasing out support for this, though) .
Qt is known not to use templates, one very useful modern c++ feature.
