For all the first time moms who have pets, what are you doing to get them ready for baby? We have a 2 year old mini poodle mix who is a little hyper and want her to calm down before baby. Any tips or tricks? She loves people but tends to jump up on someone...

We didn't really do anything special to prepare him before ds's arrival either .
If it helps but I want her to feel "involved" and not afraid of mom shuffling in and out of this room.

I find it pretty annoying when I see women who aren't parents hating on moms for something they've witnessed. Granted if it's super dangerous/skanky/etc I get it. A friend just posted a picture of a woman at Walmart changing her LO's diaper on the hood...

I hate to hear about for it.
When kids are drug into moms drama.
When I see a mom who has a child misbehaving or just plain ignoring her in public and she uses and give your child some rules and boundaries.
