I really don't accept that interest-only mortgages are a thing).
I would be surprised if other lenders decide to follow suit as interest-only mortgages provide a proportion of their ISA on a new car).

Hello. What is needed to qualify for offset mortgages? Are the LTV's (and income multipliers) similar to other residential mortgages? What lenders are best for offset mortgages at the moment? Many thanks!

Some unbiased advice re offset mortgages - especially about eligibility, income multiples etc so.
AFAIK at least 40pc of mortgages outstanding against UK domestic property are interest only, with nary a repayment vehicle in sight. Santander is now insisting that prospective home owners need at least 50% down if they want an interest-only mortgage....
