Pretty self-explanatory question. Myself, I always got way too much as a kid, and only a few gifts really stick out that I still remember now. Where is the line between enough to honor the holiday and so much that they'll never appreciate anything?

I think this is always a struggle I have. I love crafting and making glass projects, but I feel funny gifting things I make. Like buying a gift is more acceptable.

It wasn't a "birth" gift or anything, just something, but it was short stories and such.
Gifts for Grandma? We just let them see the baby! My mom teaches children to read (essentially the birth, so maps, birth plans, keys, etc).
