Mariner outboard motors Just picked up a 1995 18FT. Sea PRO with 1995 100HP Mariner outboard with 387 hours on boat& motor my question is has anyone on SB had a mariner outboard .

Mariner is also a Brunswick Company: http Company which used Mercury blueprints... .
A few of the smaller ones are either Yamahas, Nissans, or Tohatsu motors.
Any Mariner outboard over 25 hp is simply a Mercury outboard with gray paint.

Barrus were the suppliers in the UK.
They were horrendously expensive but there were some takers amongst the fish farming industry and mlitary for moving bridging units .
Yanmar had a couple of models (27 and 35Hp) diesel outboards.

i decided to clean the carbs on my 40 honda...
once the job was started i realized i had to take more parts off then i had expected...now i needed more gaskets... so i ordered them... its been 2 weeks and im worried about having...

I cant find much on the motor other there was a different oil for air cooled motors.

Help ID an Eska outboard I have and Eska outboard and need to get parts, but need to know what I have so I get the right stuff
on outside it says Eska 5hp On inside under cowl it says model#14261A

I just, and we are not all financially....
Why don't you just get a vintage motor and restore it like this.
I get why people use new motor, we are not all mechanically inclined to fix up old motors something else.
