Hi.
So I've been Googling this for some time now and haven't really gotten anywhere... I want to embed my own personal artwork for my album in to my songs.
The results that come back are always related to already established bands, so obviously I'm not...

But for mp3s, wav files aren't good with tagging, when I tag wavs in iTunes the artwork it appears to use databases which I wont be on, I need to be able to save the image in to the .mp3 files the folder, an "album....

In the SYNC system of voice commanding, I understand that I should be able to call up MP3 tracks (from a plugged-in USB thumbdrive) by artist, title, album, etc. as long as that information is included in the tracks' ID tagging?

I use the phone to control what I play but not by voice. .
I use my Blackberry, have all the music on it .

I have a ton of MP3s, but their ID tags are not filled in. Going in manually to populate them is simply too much work.
I was wondering if there is a way to populate them automatically. Perhaps by feeding the MP3s to Shazam or Midori or something like....

So I just realized that I can tag media in Windows 7....couple questions:
1) Why would I want to tag instead of placing a few keywords directly in the file name?
2) If I start spending a lot of time tagging, when I move the files around; between computers...

The tagging is specific to the file so when the file is....
For example my Sansa MP3 tagged I can sort by music type, by artist, by album, by year, etc.
Tagging helps certain programs/media players sort or categorize the media.

Replay Music does do album art.
We are still supporting it but don't have plans to make any changes .
We are no longer selling or updating Replay AV.

I want to:
Rip a CD Set ID3 tags Create snippets (45 seconds) Add a 5sec fadeout at the end (40s-45s) Convert to mp3 I've tried several tools now (Goobox, Grip, lame, ecasound, vorbis-tools, abcde...) but i couldnt find a way to achieve all those points...

Apply id3 tags to both <name>.mp3 and < can be done with id3v2 , mid3v....
Create a 45-second <name>.snippet.wav to <name>.snippet.mp3 5.
Convert <name>.wav to <name>.mp3 2.
Process:
for each *.WAV: 1.

I think I remember one of the biggest complaints people have had in the past is that, when put into iTunes, all the songs come up as separate albums based on the artist, despite all ... .
Don't remember who did it.
I have this one in my windows ocr folder.
