I am using Popcorn 3, along with TiVo Transfer for Popcorn (from Popcorn 4). I've used TiVo Transfer to copy several episodes of Fringe Season 3 to my mac, and have successfully used Popcorn 3 to convert the .tivo files...

Did you mark the box to enable TiVo transfers....
Then you have a MPEG 2 file are using TiVo Transfer from Popcorn 4 but using Popcorn 3 with those transfers.
Is to download TiVo Decoder and use it to remove the TiVo wrapper.

I just bought Creator 2009 for burning my TiVo recordings to DVD as this is the product the TiVo web site suggests to use. I was very surprised by how poorly it performed. Playing the video is fine, but anything beyond that...
