Hey guys, I've been training for about 5 years, but as of recent I've started to encounter some pain in the upper forearm (around the brachioradialis muscle). Here's a link to where the muscle is:

I don't think mine is nerve related....
Sounds the same, except mine is just annoying rather than a horrific pain.
The nerve is getting crushed on end range of the curl and causing ALOT of pain...it even radiates to the shoulder and forearm.

Already! I just wanted to share that I too, have the weird jaw/neck pain at exactly the same spot/neck pain? I remember also going to a new dentist last year and he told me I was grinding my teeth.

The muscle pain may be linked to you not riding, and then riding long not be the culprit....
I'm not saying that diabetes may not be the culprit behind your muscle pain, but it may be other things.
That I can attribute to diabetes.

Apparently I've slightly torn the muscle away from the tendon.
And I've been told that it's likely a calf-connector tear...that where the calf muscle connects to the tendon that connects it to the bone.

This is just amazing to read all of these posts. I've had this pain for years and I've struggled to explain it to anyone because no one else I know gets it. And because they don't get it they don't realise how bad it is! I feel it all through my shoulder...

The reason people are not able to be more specific when describing where this pain is located light pressure....
This muscle is located in the front of your neck and the referred pain is located exactly where you describe muscle.
