I’m doing research for my dissertation on musical theatre and I want to know your opinions on jukebox musicals such as Mamma-Mia, We Will Rock You, Thriller, Monkee Business and so on.

I dont think London is just musicals though, fir me its a wonderful mix of things to do, visit, worship, awe, shop,....
York doesnt appeal to me and over here in the Netherlands most musicals get translated, and I want to hear the original.

Do many people use songs from musicals in church weddings? I know we have to be careful about some of the songs we use, so that they are ok with the priest. I love musicals and while I don't want a 'musical only' wedding, I would like one or two numbers...

Really the couple have done music-wise because that's not a 'churchy' part of the wedding.
Will be using this ourselves None of the music I wanted was approved by the church, broke my heard.

Most of the music is also blah to embarassing: I have the OLC and OBC.
He's very good at pastiching other people's styles (Latin music in Evita, Italian opera in Phantom, Jim: There are some few nice tunes but the lyrics are trash.
