Jo, I stitch outside quite a lot in the summer months, i have a basket that I can throw all my stitching stuff in, ( so I dont have to make a gazillion trips ) which tends to reduce the number of times I go into the house for forgotten things .

Today I finished knitting my 1,000th 6" x 9" rectangle for the handmade afghan project to provide afghans for wounded soldiers .

It's darling and I love the fabric, but I don't get it - over here, a pinwheel is a child's toy that you blow or hold up in the wind and it spins around....so, what's the difference? We call... .
