I was checking out Samsung's website if they have new netbooks, but I found no netbooks. So I researched and found an small article telling Samsung stops making 10.1" computers. :\
Is it true that Samsung will be not making netbooks anymore?

It was a very nice netbook while I needed it though.
Ah well, I guess my next small laptop will be 11.6 with a tablet + keyboard dock .
It's a shame that Samsung is abandoning netbook.

Somebody has to lose.
Too many players, not enough differentiation.
I think the success of the iPad and other tablets have undercut the market for underpowered laptops .
I don't know, but I suspect that netbooks are going away.

I have also used, Samsung's latest N120 netbook gives you 2.1 speakers and a slightly bigger keyboard than of the laptop you can find it here....
To TrustedReviews.com the Samsung NC10 has by far the best netbook keyboard around.

My netbook can be set to run in 1024 x768 mode so I change to that temporarily to run the raw editor.
Elements runs reasonably.
John I use Elements 8 on a Samsung NC110 netbook, which only has 1gb memory.

Install Ubuntu on sda7 as you planed and I think right answer for device is sda.That way grub will become your bootlader.You will be able to boot both OS .

The netbook, is/was about the right size down and move.
I have carried that old laptop would just be an awkward thing to carry around in daily life .
That while physically larger than a netbook, has lesser specs.
