I don't think it is possible to do what you want with the router, as the ADSL port is the WAN port on this router .
----LAN2--(LAN IF)Netgear(WAN IF)----LAN1---(LAN IF)ROUTER(WAN IF)---INTERNET
You should go of the netgear router.

I have some Netgear FS726TP switches that are tied to a core switch using VLAN trunking. I have the switch split up so that certain ports are on certain VLANs, but we also have an "administrative" VLAN to access management interfaces for various network...

Some ideas though:
Can you test whether maybe the switch is accessible on all VLANs? This definitely wouldn't ... .
I don't have experience with that particular switch but I skimmed through the manual and didn't see anything that looked like what you want .

I'm trying to find a Vista/Win 7 capable driver for a Netgear SC101T SAN. It's based on Z-San which had some issues with Vista originally. The Netgear site has links for an updated driver and Vista-specific control suite , but both links are broken.
Does...

Hello,
I have a netgear wi-fi router DG834G v3. On it it says it's a wi-fi, adsl 2+ modem, switch, etc. There is an antena on the back and a wi-fi indicator on the front. However, when I connect to it via the web interface, the wireless setup link is ...

I'm trying to setup a Hurricane Electric (tunnelbroker.net) tunnel from a Solaris server. Looks like everything is working fine, except that no traffic actually seems to transit our router. Router needs to pass IP Protocol 41 traffic, but I don't know...

Unless it's explicitly blocked by a firewall rule, the router should pass the traffic -- an IP packet is an IP packet... .
The reference manual is here:

There is no indication of any IPv6 support .

Hello,
As usual you get the standard run around from comcast and netgear with who supports what. The problem is who is responsible for the firmware upgrades of the router, is it Comcast or Netgear?

It looks like the idea for this thing is that it's a cable modem and wireless router all in one. But it doesn't seem to be working as a cable modem and I have another cable modem that does work. Can I still use the Netgear device as a wireless router?...
Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at superuser):
It could be....
This modem doesn't have a WAN port so there's no other way for it to gain access to the WAN .
The router normally would become the gateway by redirecting all local network traffic through the WAN (cable) connection .
It doesn't look like it.
