appeals; she has said that judges should not just
interpret the law, they should "make policy"; and
even her colleagues on the Appeals Court have
publicly criticized her opinions because they
disregard the facts of the cases she hears.
But she is a diabetic, Hipanic woman. Now if she
were only a Jewish lesbian transexual who had
converteed to Islam .....

Here is how I see it: Obama is going to pretty
much have his way. For good or bad. The
Republicans will not stand in his way: There
isn't a dime's difference between the parties --
or really between their respective designs for the
future of this country.
I'm not even worried about the current situation.
I'm already looking toward what comes after the
imminent dissolution of th United States into
total chaos. History shows that most nations last
an average of 150 years before they implode. We
are about 83 years beyond our expiration date, and
it is now impossible both to deny the obvious and
to prevent the inevitable. See you in the history
books!

Well, I'll grant you that Limbaugh's
interpretation of the facts differs from mine and
yours. But when I speak of facts, I speak of the
nominee's voting record, public utterances,
associations and the like -- which come from
sources like the New York Times and other
purportedly neutral sources of information.
If you let Limbaugh decide your opinion, you are
as big a fool as you would be if you let Ted
Kennedy or the Catholic Church or Paris Hilton
decide your opinions for you.
You and I -- all of us -- are of sufficient age
where we don't believe anything until we check it
out. Sadly, critical thinking is no longer taught
to kids; in fact, today, it is discouraged. Will
Ms. Sotomayor be a good Associate Justice of the
United States Supreme Court? Some of her politics
trouble me from what I know at this time, but I'm
nowhere near done researching her qualifications.

I agree that he is a real shithead..but I do think he is generally right, not
about what is good for us but rather as to what will happen. He is an asshole
supreme, and he does not contribute to anything good, but most of his facts

And yes..he is show business..and he really thinks all people who make less
than 40 k a year..ought to die, if a poor person gets sick..let him rot, if
