the last eight years"? Stop telling political lies please. Most
government statistics on the private sector take two to three years to
actually pan out, if they are ever acurately taken at all. Scientific
spending would be a category of spending that is difficult to
classify, especially since many technologies have dual purpose uses.
In fact a sign of a growing capitalistic economy would be decreased
government spending in the scientific community, since the spending
cycle would not include tax dollars. Scientific spending that rotates
public tax dollars also probably indicates the public is spending too
much for scientific developments, since they are paying twice for the
same service(s) andTalent on loan, from GOD. products? I am not
convinced that they even know the actual amount of money spent by the
private sector, because if they did, why did they not substantiate (an
element of real journalism) their statements with credible comparitive
evidence?
Because here is the rub, President Obama is comfortable in a culture
in a the educational community where intellectual property is the not
the critical motivating factor in the educational process, rather they
focus on explaining past developments by scientists in the private
sector and how they did it (99% anyways?). A small percentage of
government research may develop some intellectual property, but on no
where near the scale that the private sector does.
And this is why many of us are becoming politically active, we cannot
afford to watch a public relations campaign succeed in destroying what
built this country, especially aided and abetted by members of the
media whose focus in life is more or less social partying? What
government scientists are "innovative"? Does the fact that they are
employed by the government make them "innovative"? Of course not. So
why does the media and the public eat the hype pushed by Mr. Obama
when he opens his mouth? Even he could not believe the sugar coated
idiotic propaganda he was being fed through the teleprompter, he lost
his place?
You know what, blame yourselves for what I write. You've been pushing
us since we are kids, be the best, you can do it, etc., etc. You want
a better life, build intellectual property, or take a high paid
profession. Communism destroys intellectual property, and the
creation process? Spending 1 billion dollars is like taking the
entire paycheck of everyone in Philadelphia, PA for one week? So
communism (out of control spending) is a lot like slavery when you
think about spending one billion dollars is taking the entire paycheck
of a major city for one week? Mr. "take it to the next level" Obama?
Gonna catch that hail mary, or are you going to fumble the ball (or
did you just get virtually speared in your own intellectual arena)?
Nothing is being said about the back log in the patent office, and yet
making companies nationally owned (looting?) instead of bankruptcy is
being promoted, and the press is all to happy to go along and keep
Americans from asking questions by giving them the appearance
everything is OK? Americans can wink at politicians stuffing their
freezers with cash (by throwing them out of office), but this?
So historians will look back and say the stimulous package was the
"First Blood"? The era of Reagan is not dead, it just got started. If
the Democrats were so eager to help the poor, they would give us all
oil royalties? But they don't do that, because they actually hate the
poor? Is that logical to think, they would rather have Americans
spend money on oil importing it, then earn royalties on it exporting
it? Evil rich men? And the average politician is how wealthy? Live
by the principals of conservatism, or by envy?
