Republicans LOST a SURE seat in the House of Representatives.
In your warped way of thinking that's a win for Republicans.
We look forward to more of the good work that Rush, Sarah, Glen, and
Kenny can do to advance Republican interests in this manner!
Keep up the good work!

No, Ken, it doesn't, because the so called Republican party of today is NOT
the
real Republican of yesteryears, it has been taken over by the
ultra-conservatives
made up mostly by the John Birch Society. If you read books on this JBS
you'll
find out how dirty word that was in the 40's and 50's. If the real
Republicans don't
take back their party, this new "extremism" party is doomed.

Yeah, jeez. I mean, just because a Democrat was
elected to that seat for the first time since the
19th century -- we're talking your great-great-great-
great-great grandfather's time here -- how in the
world could anyone regard that is a Democratic
victory?
Colin Powell, Lincoln Chaffee, William Weld, Francis Fukuyama,
and Christopher Buckley endorsed Obama. Doesn't
that make Obama's election a victory for Republicans
too?
Conservatives...you cannot trust the mad-dog
wing of your own party.

No...I'm serious. Haiku. If you have any integrity, you'll answer
me. The GOP in NY23 not only endorsed the Democrat in that race, but
they used Republican DONOR money to call people campaigning for the
Democrat in the last week. So, how can the Republicans have lost?
THEIR candidate won.

The day anyone accuses me of having what
passes with you for intellectual integrity is the
day that I seriously consider seppuku.
Already did. If you didn't like my answer -- or if it was
just too subtle for you -- then I can't help you with that.
All righty then, let's get back to your original question,
which was:
So, I want to know how Pelosi says the Democrat win
in NY 23 was a victory for the Democrats over the Republicans
Clearly this was a victory for the Democrats. But If you want me
to discuss whether Pelosi was correct in sayint that this was "a
victory
for the Democrats over the Republicans", then first you are going to
have
to show me where Pelosi said that this was " a victory
victory for the Democrats over the Republicans".
Fair enough?

I agree with your assessment. It was a victory for Democrats and
Republicans. The other races were wins for conservatives.

They did no such thing.
***One*** Republican, the candidate who withdrew, endorsed the
Democrat after she withdrew. I've seen no reports of any other
Republican doing so.
Your evidence is lacking.
No she didn't.
