Bill Plaschke, by a country mile, or a light-year.

Yes, but I always got the feeling that Plaschke was saying a lot of
the outlandish crap he does simply for a reaction. Chuck, on the
other hand, seems to actually believe the garbage that he spews.

Chuck is like any 8 year old - they firmly believe whatever it is they
are saying at the time.
I'm sure if the Lakers had gotten to play Dallas instead of Houston
and Kobe was being guarded by Josh Howard on 2 bad ankles while
Carmelo was being shutdown by Battier/Artest, Chuckles would be saying
that Kobe was the best player in the world and Carm can't compete.

Chuckles says whatever is passing through his head at the moment with no
regard for past or future comments. I not sure if he means to, but that's
just him.
He is usually good for a laugh or two every night though.

He is definitely entertaining, just annoys me when he flip-flops. He
did beat that camera operator tonight though...and took his 'Victory
Donuts' home with him.

I read it & agree with the main point. I was trying to think of a white guy
with similar language skills, or lack thereof, & Dandy Don is as close as I
can get so far. In all honesty, I think Chuckles tends to play up his
Ebonics skills as part of his show as I have heard him speak fairly
coherently on rare occasions.
I do agree he's throwing rocks from a glass house when he throws rocks at
Josh Howard for his supposed bad behavior. Anyone who's been popped for
DUI, thrown guys threw bar windows & all the other crap Barkley has done
really doesn't have much room to criticize others.
All in all, I stand by my opinion that he's good for a laugh every now &
then & generally says stupid things intentionally to generate chatter. And
isn't that really what TNT or any other network wants?
Go Blazers !

Chuckles will always be welcome on my TV. He just tells it like
it is (at the moment).

Regardless, it's still fun. Comparing to the other airheads, who would
you rather listen to - someone who's fun (one way or another) or someone
who's plain boring.

no doubt it's fun...I had half an answer to Swill that I tossed but I'll
give it a short go here...give them a prime time show...I would watch it
all year long 7 nights a week and love it...
But after the game give me some insight, interviews, a look towards the next
game for the teams that just played...give some scores and highlights of
the rest of the league...
yuk it up on their primetime show...TNT has nothing else anyways...that I
would love...just my opinion
BTW I thought that FSN West said they were going to be on after all home
games like last year but have not done it so far that I know of...
