2002.
Seguite questi link molto interessanti:

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2008/12/31/2008-ends-spotless-and-with-266-spotless- days-the-2-least-active-year-since-1900-portends-cooling/

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/01/04/solar-geomagnetic-ap-index-now-at-lowest- point-in-its-history/

nell'atmosfera abbia avuto a mio avviso cosi' scarso effetto

http://www.corriere.it/scienze_e_tecnologie/09_gennaio_05/ghiacci_artico_freddo _livelli_1979_52278762-db4b-11dd-8671-00144f02aabc.shtml

i satelliti.
state particolarmente rigide.
neve in superfice.

Oggetto: More Dud Global Warming Predictions - Frontier Online

January 5, 2008 (SG19)

Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to
pause and reflect . . . Mark Twain

More Dud Global Warming Predictions

Welcome to the most bone-chilling Canadian winter in recent memory -
witness brutal storms across the country, temperatures this morning on the
prairies in the minus thirties to forties. All this, of course, flies in the
face of human-caused global warming orthodoxy. This morning's email begins
with items on this controversial topic with more healthy skepticism from
Australia, as well as an authoritative U.S. Senate Minority report detailing
how hundreds of prominent scientists are bravely rejecting politically
correct global warming views. We also reprint the results of a recent
national poll done by Compas Research, commissioned by Frontier, which
confirms that Canadians are very unhappy with the unbalanced discussion of
global warming. They will be getting even more angry as policy-makers and
politicians use the shaky human-caused carbon dioxide/green house theory to
roll out unnecessary, expensive and counter-productive policy interventions
in increasingly absurd attempts to change our weather. Looking out the
window here in Winnipeg . . . the temperature is -34C. Have a warm day.

Top 10 Dud Global Warming Predictions
Lesson: Something is wrong with warming models that predict warming in
a cooling world, especially when we're each year pumping out even more
greenhouse gases. Andrew Bolt of the Herald Sun in Melbourne, Australia
highlights, we quote, "the top 10 dud predictions of that hooting, screaming
and screeching tribe of warming alarmists. Look and laugh." Worth a look.

Prominent Scientist Says Warming Alarm "Mistaken"
Award winning Princeton University Physicist Dr. Will Happer, who was
reportedly fired by former Vice President Al Gore in 1993 for failing to
adhere to Gore's scientific views, has now declared man-made global warming
fears "mistaken." Happer is a Professor at the Department of Physics at
Princeton University and former Director of Energy Research at the
Department of Energy from 1990 to 1993, has published over 200 scientific
papers, and is a fellow of the American Physical Society, The American
Association for the Advancement of Science, and the National Academy of
Sciences. This article, reprinted from the Canada Free Press, reviews Dr.
Will Happer's turnabout on anthropogenic global warming. Special
Publication.

U. S. Senate Minority Report: More Than 650 International Scientists
Dissent Over Man-Made Global Warming Claims
The chorus of skeptical scientific voices on human-caused global
warming grew louder in 2008 as a steady stream of peer reviewed studies,
analyses, real world data and inconvenient developments challenged the UN's
and former Vice President Al Gore's claims that the "science is settled" and
there is a "consensus." A devastating 231 page report released by the US
Senate Environment and Public Works Committee illuminates the shaky
foundation of 'man-made' global warming. Special publication.

New COMPAS Poll: Immense Public Frustration with Politicians Over the
Global Warming and Climate Change Debate
A poll released by COMPAS Research shows two-thirds of Canadians think
politicians have done a poor-to-bad job of providing evidence to justify
their proposals to fight carbon gases-including spending billions or levying
higher taxes on gasoline or heating oil. Fewer than one in five (19%) think
Canada's politicians have done a good-to-excellent job of justifying their
plans. The poll was commissioned by the Frontier Centre for Public Policy, a
Winnipeg-based think tank. Our media release on poll.

Martin Durkin, Director of The Great Global Warming Swindle
If you examine the mountain of IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on
Climate Change) literature on this, you'll find the vast majority of it
concerns the possible (projected) effects of climate change. Most of this is
highly suspect and does not address the central question of whether humans
are causing the climate to change. The climate has always changed. Climate
change is nothing new. Front Page Magazine's conversation with Martin
Durkin, Director of The Great Global Warming Swindle.

Polar Bears: A Disappearing Species? (Winnipeg)
Speaker: Mitch Taylor, Polar Bear Biologist
Location: Millennium Suite, Winnipeg Convention Centre, 375 York Ave.
, Winnipeg
Date: January 15, 2009 - 11:45 a.m.
Cost: $45 for a Reserved Seat, $50 at the Door, $25 for Students

Polar bears have become the poster child of environmental concerns for
global warming caused by anthropogenic CO2 emissions. The United States
recently identified polar bears as "threatened" with extinction because of
the incremental warming due to increased levels of atmospheric CO2 predicted
by the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). The popular press
and environmental groups eagerly report information that supports the notion
that polar bears are disappearing due to human caused alteration of climate.
Polar bear researchers are almost unanimous in their support of this
perspective, and have predicted a decline in the world population of as much
as 70% over the next three generations. Saving the polar bears has become
equivalent to saving the planet. Currently the world's polar bear numbers
are believed to be high and climate-induced declines have been identified
for only 2 of the world's 19 populations. One of these populations is
Manitoba's Western Hudson Bay (Churchill) population. Are the declining
populations the precursors of general declines that are sure to come (i.e.,"canaries
in the coal mine"), or is there another explanation? The scientific
information on polar bears suggests that things are not as bleak as they
have been portrayed. Join us for another provocative Lunch on the Frontier
in Winnipeg.

sofisticati sistemi!
