Recommend anything better than (MacAfee Enterprise 8.5) anti-virus? (i.e. cheaper/faster/more reliable)

On Tue, 7 Jul 2009 07:53:10 -0700 (PDT), John Smith <...@googlemail.com

Hi

Our MacAfee anti-virus on our WindowsXP 2003 server (15-20 seats) is
about to expire.
We are thinking about replacing it with something else. Any
suggestions?

One reason why we are thinking about replacing MacAfee is that last
year when we
upgraded to version 8.5 Enterprise (from v8 or 7.5 ??) our server
immediately ran
VERY much slower.

I think it's Kaspersky. Fastest, lowest CPU usage and best detection.
If I remember that right from my MS IT buddy. He claims it's because the
East Europeans are closer to where the viruses are made!

Try GData Enterprise. Easy install and distribution to clients.
Uses 2 antivirus engines. Very stable. Keeps record of scanned
files so with the next full scan it checks only files that were
modified since the last full scan. This makes it rather fast :)
The included in the package MailSecurity checks for SPAM not in
Exchange mailboxes but before they even get there as it monitors
all smtp traffic.
