Quilt kits finally all done

1 luce 2 Untitled 3 Working 4 Stove Top

i spent a few hours organizing my yarn and needles into that armoire=20

me um we didnt have disney games when i was five

one of my resolutions for 2009 was to stop ignoring the etsy shop and to no=
t spin my wheels all day (these two problems are very related) i am the que=
en of walking in circles around the house and not really getting anything a=
ccomplished i wouldnt care except for that it drives me nuts part of the pr=
oblem is my insomniatic nights which leave me only half there during the da=
y times ( which then leads to high caffeine consumption) so i decided step =
one is to get good nights sleeps i am trying to change my night time routin=
e to a peaceful herbal tea quiet inspiration seeking few hours it helps if =
i keep our room clean and the sheets freshly washed and calming reading mor=
e- tv less- at night is a goal then hopefully my days will be a little more=
with it because i hate wasting time

refined sugar will be your enemy till you die

but we feel more blessed and amazed than ever at lifes unexpected twists an=
d turns and how happy we are that there is a loving heavenly father that un=
derstands the little picture we have in our minds for our lives and gently =
and lovingly helps us change our vision to a masterpiece i really love life=
=20

i bet that block is not nearly as big as i remember it being but i remember=
it being quite a trip

secondly i must say i know carbohydrates arent bad i know bread is life and=
wheat is the staff of life a lot of fruits and veggies are quite sugary/ s=
tarchy for almost everyone eating all these foods in moderation will do the=
m fine but remember i am trying to regulate an abnormality to a diabetic su=
gar is the devil to someone with celiac disease wheat is the devil to someo=
ne with milk allergies dairy is the devel and what ive come to believe that=
for some women who dont ovulate high blood sugar may be their devil and it=
definately is mine

just a phone call one night she had an aneurysm and although this was a sur=
prise of the worst kind it was the most spiritual time of my life much good=
and understanding has come through that loss

it transported me back in time to simpler sunnier days and its been making =
really happy to stare at today

me 1982

and again when you are at a good weight and having regular cycles you can a=
bsolutely add in a lot more whole wheat and whole grain foods as well as al=
l fruits and vegetables and other good carbs like beans if your cycles get =
a little kooky or you gain weight thats when you know you need to reduce ag=
ain

me um we didnt have computers in our homes then

cate and i went through some of the free options around the web for valenti=
nes to download and print=20

she is my best babysitter for cate she takes turns with me putting cate to =
bed and being her pillow=20

Taking the valentines happy girl

how have you been surprised what can i say

i have been laying in bed sick since monday it seems to be getting worse by=
the day not better i am so irritated and antsy i miss my family and i want=
to clean my house=20

guess what i finally put in the shop

she is my best babysitter for cate she takes turns with me putting cate to =
bed and being her pillow=20

where are neighborhoods like that anymore with bushes big enough to hide in=
and kids that go around the block together all afternoon and normal sized =
houses and the old winkfields next door ok i dont need the winkfields but i=
d sure love to give my kids the rest

did anyone else sustain life with saltines from the ages of 13-17

all kits are shipped phew

but the main thing i love about this picture is tree cover you can see in t=
he upper right corner thats how it was all around the block even on really =
hot days you could find a great place to play in some serious shade everyon=
e had a huge tree or trees somewhere on their property and bushes and ivy a=
nd a great variety of things the only reason we had those young trees on th=
e corner was because my mom sold our big palm tree to some palm springs lan=
dscapers ha

this week i am getting all my ducks in a row so that this weekend i can hol=
e up and sew myself some desperately needed skirts for church and summer=20

again happy things

and again when you are at a good weight and having regular cycles you can a=
bsolutely add in a lot more whole wheat and whole grain foods as well as al=
l fruits and vegetables and other good carbs like beans if your cycles get =
a little kooky or you gain weight thats when you know you need to reduce ag=
ain

i thought id live there forever one day when i was 12 my dad quit his job a=
nd we moved to lake tahoe it rocked my stable world=20

and then suddenly and to my surprise i met and married the man i had no ide=
a i was dreaming of but he was perfect for me and better than anything i ha=
d imagined or sought after before

Off to the kindergarten valentine party

Ill show you what ive been working on soon- theyre presents and i have to g=
ive them away first have a nice monday

refined sugar will be your enemy till you die

i never thought life would then take me to utah to attend byu and then off =
to serve as a missionary for a year and a half but it did and it was hardes=
t most surprising most rewarding experience of my life

well as it turns out it was me who needed her the most i think if the test =
of the greatest among us is the one who will be the servant than penny wins=
in this houseok animal peoplei get it i really really get it

but the commonality between each experience was- it was out of my hands i o=
ccasionally fell in love with someone who couldnt be had i occasionally had=
to run from someone who wouldnt let me go

i know some people dont love the whole valentines thing but it is so fun to=
me i dont care if the greeting card company made it up- any day where i ge=
t to be pretty treated with sweetness have a declicious dinner and some rom=
ance is right on in my book

let me preface this by saying that there is no one size fits all eating pla=
n for someone with hormonal issues for some women cysts irregular cycles la=
ck of ovulation and too much testosterone and its effects are directly rela=
ted to bad insulin regulation in their body for these women they may be abl=
e to restore better regularity with avoiding blood sugar spikes by not eati=
ng carbohydrates therefore eliminating the insulin problem that is why so m=
any women can conceive with metformin or glucophage because these medicines=
work at that level=20

grant and i listened and danced to his music on valentines day=20

the girl loves a project i mean LOVES it was like so fun to her to print th=
em off plan how she wanted to present them go to the store for candy sign a=
nd put them together she just bossed me around and made sure i tied the str=
ing right=20

have a happy st. patrick's day.=20

really, cate is also mexican, japanese, native american, swiss, and a lot m=
ore- a true american- so we actually have a lot of family history travellin=
g to do, but i really love the romantic beauty of ireland, and have always =
been drawn to that part of the world. plus i really love corned beef.

may you always have courage to take a chance and never find frogs in your u=
nderpants.

you sit at the counter

with the sun streaming in

last minute trip to idaho to see my sister- so much better than home bloggi=
ng!

but so worth it.

i am looking forward to a date with grant.

i told cate about st. patrick's day and ireland- she has a lot of irish anc=
estors through me.=20

soft and long lacy scarf light enough for spring, extra long for winter wra=
pping, elegant enough for church, cute enough for a tshirt...i really love =
this scarf pattern (gee can you tell?).=20

there's a tiny restaurant

i love the comments i get from all of you.=20

i have always dreamed of going to ireland, (and scotland too- mccaleb), to =
research our family history, and to see the green grass in real life.

and you are happy.

3. i think that packages stacked all over the house are a nice decorative t=
ouch (and they remind me how good people are to donate to project 31) happy=

it was super delicious.=20

i am going to turn on some good music and choose to be happy.

i love her style.=20

really, cate is also mexican, japanese, native american, swiss, and a lot m=
ore- a true american- so we actually have a lot of family history travellin=
g to do, but i really love the romantic beauty of ireland, and have always =
been drawn to that part of the world. plus i really love corned beef.

doesn't she look like lucy from chronicles of narnia?=20

she never looks like a senator from krypton on the red carpet.=20

1. in the craft room i throw everything on the homework table. that clears =
up the floor for more mess craft making.=20

she's cute

my happy plans for this evening include knitting and watching two favorite =
movies: far and away followed by tristan and isolde.

(so is corned beef if you've never tried it).=20

my happy little life

and i love it (thanks, coco).=20

soft and long lacy scarf light enough for spring, extra long for winter wra=
pping, elegant enough for church, cute enough for a tshirt...i really love =
this scarf pattern (gee can you tell?).=20

wooohoooo!"=20

4. i don't worry about a little "creative clutter" in cate's room. i say, a=
good dress up/ barbie mess day better than watching tv all afternoon, righ=
t? pretty soon i will just put my 'kerchief on again and go to town. (yes, =
that is what cate's room looks like again, just over a month after the big =
clean. i tell you, i'm fighting a losing battle with that girl). does that =
answer your question, mary? i hope it helps! wink.

ps- did i say i would sew this past saturday? i meant next saturday! haha!

and you eat with your sunglasses on

i found that amazing old shirt (we're big fans) at the thrift store for $1 =
and it's so soft.=20

simple is always prettiest to me.=20

What are your tips for clearing clutter so you can focus on such a project =
as sewing?" well mary, let me answer your question by showing you some exam=
ples of how i deal with clutter in different areas of my home:

my happy plans for this evening include knitting and watching two favorite =

What are your tips for clearing clutter so you can focus on such a project =

really, cate is also mexican, japanese, native american, swiss, and a lot m=
ore- a true american- so we actually have a lot of family history travellin=
g to do, but i really love the romantic beauty of ireland, and have always =
been drawn to that part of the world. plus i really love corned beef.

we are happily enjoying being able to play outside again.=20

2. to keep the bedrooms clear i throw all the dirty laundry in the laundry =
room and shut the door. out of sight, out of mind!=20

pps- our topic of convo for the night was this article from the wall street=
journal.

wooohoooo!"=20

i always enjoy knitting lacy stuff but this pattern was especially fun, sup=
er easy, and portable.

when she does these weekends she fills up really fast so don't wait- if you=
need color and/or cut and/or face waxing at very reasonable prices email h=
er promptly and she'll get you booked and give you directions.=20

i am blocking my two latest projects today and will show them tomorrow.=20

corned beef is cheap meat, a head of cabbage is less than 50 cents, and i b=
et you have all the ingredients for the bread in your cupboard. you should =
make this meal tonight!

haha, that's my girl.=20

trust me, you'll want her working her magic on you.=20

i want those red boots and that coat.=20

and totally not what you are supposed to be eating

i told cate about st. patrick's day and ireland- she has a lot of irish anc=
estors through me.=20

i love that she's an expert knitter and yet chooses to create very simple p=
ieces;=20

and the fact that she's 31 makes me happy to be 31.

may you always have courage to take a chance and never find frogs in your u=
nderpants.

here's an irish blessing from us to you...

ps- did i say i would sew this past saturday? i meant next saturday! haha!

and you are happy.
