Summary of Polgar's Attempts To Keep the Truth From the USCF Membership

Harry Payne wrote on the USCF Issues Forum:

"The bottom line here is evident. For the last year (give or take) I
have heard nothing from Susan Polgar, Paul troung, Chess Discussion, and
the supporters of Susan but " The TRUTH will come out"!

Yet every time some "Truth" comes out, Susan is instructing her
Attorneys to file to , "Quash", "Suppress", or disallow it to the
membership of the USCF.

....What is Susan afraid of? Why does Susan and Paul not want the court
to decide the issues? If she and Paul are being so open and honest why
would they not want "Everything" to be known? I would.
Why does Susan and Paul want mediation, it is surely not to save the
USCF any money. IF Susan even cared about the USCF and/or it's
membership she would not have included the 80 some thousand members in
her frivolous Lawsuit.

I hear some proclaim, there is some truth to Susan's complaints. That
begs the question, "why" does Susan not just say who did what? That has
become evident also, Susan can not prove anything she has charged anyone
with."

Off the top of my head, this is what Susan Polgar has done to prevent
anything negative about her from coming out.

1. Commenced what is in my opinion a frivolous law suit in Texas to
silence her critics and cow them into not speaking about her acts and
her husband's acts.

2. Asked Judge Patel to seal all documents in the California case, to
which the NY Times objected in a letter to Judge Patel.

3. Sought an order to quash a discovery subpoena issued in the case she
commenced in Texas even though her counsel in Texas had sought the same
material in Polgar's discovery requests. Motion to quash denied by Judge
Cummings.

4. Has her attorney designate all discovery material produced by the
USCF as "Attorney's Eyes Only" preventing USCF counsel from having his
own clients review discovery documents. This issue has been addressed by
Judge Patel--4-13-09 hearing.

5. Polgar had her Texas counsel send a letter to the USCF requesting
that candidate statements in Chess Life be edited so as not to contain
references to Polgar, Truong and the litigation the USCF is embroiled in
with them.

6. Polgar has placed chess discussion and her blog on full moderation
status. Nothing can be posted there without the prior consent of the
site administrator. In the case of chess discussion, Jack Lemoine has
made clear in posts in this forum that Ms. Polgar controls what is
allowed on chessdiscussion. Additionally, the materials removed from
seal and published by Polgar's San Francisco counsel (PM conversations
between Polgar and Alexander) make clear that Ms. Polgar controls what
goes up on chessdiscussion. Posters to this forum have had posts pulled
from chessdiscussion that are questioning or critical of Ms. Polgar
and/or Mr. Truong.

I have not included the lawyers letter to Steve Owens threatening him
with an action for defamation because Steve has not publicly stated who
caused that letter to be sent to him. It is difficult for me to imagine
that such a letter could have come from anyone other than Polgar or
Truong--but, such a conclusion can not be finally drawn unless and until
Steve Owens tells us who sent the letter to him that resulted in his
shutting down his chess blog.

Sure, lots of them.
