Myanmar's second-ranked leader has urged army officers to ensure the
smooth running of next year's general elections, warning that violence
can mar balloting in democratically immature countries, state media
said Saturday. As part of its "roadmap to democracy," the country's
ruling junta drafted a constitution and called for elections. The
elections, the first polls in almost two decades, are the fifth stage
of the roadmap, a process critics have called a sham designed to

Dear Myanmar Myo Chits, Patriots,
You may have seen these three photos. Photo 1 and 2 are about
Myanmars enjoying their traditional water festival. or Buddhist New
Year.
When I look at them , study then some thought come into my head..
We can see nothing, everyone was enjoying freely as far as the photos
go. We also see social freedom at it best, if not the highest, in the
photo 2. Which may be a little contrary to Myanmar Buddhist culture.
But what the hell, this is twenty first century, this is a free world,
Myanmar is trying to be a Free country whatever that Freedom is that
going to be.
.
Myanmay will not know without the experience , what is the cost of
Freedom and how expensive that freedom would be. Whatever Freedom
they have they should treasure it.take care of it.
Our eyes sights are different from one another, so we, each of us see
thins on different visions.
With respect to the AP reporter Khin Maung Win. I would like to point
out that this is a “ “water festival “ not a “ water fight” , where he
used the word “ water fight “. Myanmar are not fighting , they are
celebrating the new year , spraying or pouring water on each other to
clean body and soul for the new year. Khin Maung Win may not mean it
but he used the word “ fight “. it is at unfortunate time while there
was riots in neighbouring Thailand, where Riot Police used water
cannon to disperse the mob.
That may be nothing for some but , the usage is not proper That is my
view and in my opinion.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Thaksin Shinawatra for
inciting riots in Thailand. Thailand supposed to be a democratic
country, compare to Myanmar. Issuing an arrest warrant for “ inciting
riots”? If Thaksin was in Thailand openly I am sure he would be
arrested ,charge , and found guilty and sent to prison. Ince he was
ousted , Thaksin does nor go back to Thailand. He stayed at a safe
place and he lets his followers do the dirty works for him.
Anyway , Thailand is a side dish , the main course is Myanmar. Lets go
back to Myanmar
Reporter Khin Maung Win is good at choosing the right photos and the
right words. What is in his mind he alone will know. .If you know
what I mean.
The third photo was very interest one, it will be of everybodys's
interests It was of Vice Sr. Gen, Maung Aye.The report said that he
was urging army officers to ensure the smooth running of next year's
general elections, and also warning that violence can mar balloting in
democratically immature countries. .
As I have said above e have different sight, which could make
different views, different opinions.
In my humble opium, in any democratic country, matured of fledging
anything can happened at any time. Inciting was the word Thai
authorities used regarding recent riots in in Thailand. Former Thai
Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra had urged his followers to stage a
revolution. Since then, the Red Shirts burn the cars, used the cars
to attack the Police and the Army . They attack them with sticks and
sling shots and what else we don‘t know.. The seen gone sour.
Who are “ the inciters” in Myanmar ? Some inciters are under
control . Myanmar is at relatively in peace, because these inciters
were put away . In the name of democracy it may not be undesirable
but it is a necessity to protect and defend the peace loving, majority
of the people, the bystanders. .
One shot or hundreds of shots fired , do not matter. The fact was
shots were fired. Even warning shots into the sky, the strayed bullets
could still cause death. One round or hundreds of rounds. Nowadays,
Police or the Army , they are not holding 17th or 18th century
muskets. We can expect deaths .Four deaths or four thousands, the
death is the death.
All Myanmars had that bitter experience, I want to believe we all
have learnt through these experiences..
Vice Sr. Gen Maung Aye had urged the officers and men of the Tatmadaw.
Officer and men know what to do. His men will exercise restraint, but
they may only act accordingly depends on what the situation and
circumstances would be. They will react accordingly. . Here “ people
“ means the mob, the agitators, extremists, militants, not the entire
people of the nation not the law abiding citizens.
We have seen in Thailand , Police and Army did the same. They used
force when all options were exhausted.
Vice Sr. Gen. Maung Aye could only urge the Tatmadaw who are serving
the people to protect and defend the people and the nation from
enemies inside and out side of Myanmar. You can look at him or his
words in at least two ways. Which ever way you are looking at, you may
be right. You may not be wrong.
Vice Sr. General did not urged the people anything. May be he respects
the people and expects the people to do the right thing , he expects
people will use their “common sense” on their way to democracy.
Whatever Maung Aye had said to Tatmadaw in this regard, his words are
also heard by all people, Like always interpreters will interpret
them, the translators will translate them
All these news tell you what the future Myanmar would be, the shape of
future Myanmar Have a look around.
