I was wondering whether anyone can advise me whether the NHS charges for hearing aids lost within the dementia patient's own home?
Two hearing aids have been lost while Mum was in the care of NHS hospitals and naturally we didn't pay for replacing them...

I made enquiries at the audio department and the cost of replacement was about £1... .
Dad put both of his in the washing basket and we didn't notice, all the washing was scooped up and pushed into the machine .
I don't think they will pay for replacements.
