I have to say that I spoke too soon about my "nice" radio. After getting it I hooked it up and messed with it for a few minutes, seemed ok. But I didnt have time to check all the features.. The clarifier was unlocked, the dimmer on the clock was modded...

So I have a script that I want to run as root, without hangup and nicely. What order should I put the commands in?

or
nohup nice sudo foo.bash &
etc.
I suspect it doesn't matter but would like some insight from those who really...

So the latter
~ $ sudo nohup nice whoami nohup: ignoring input and appending output to `nohup.out' ~ $ sudo cat clober the signal handler.
The sudo should go last so that nohup and nice aren't running with root privileges.
