They're often confused.
Symantec Antivirus and Norton Antivirus are two entirely different things.

The problem here seems to be the behavioral protection of norton, which tries to detect of that it's better to not let Norton....
For an option to reconfigure Norton, so that it asks what to do the next time something like that comes up.

Symantec Antivrus Corporate Edition V 10.0.1007 and higher (but NOT version 11) are supported for Avid systems, Unity Servers, ISIS servers, Interplay and Workgroups 4 Servers.
