With var , your notwork variable is local to the foo function.
Works creates/accessed/used from anywhere.
Var notwork creates a local variable valid only for the runtime of the function.

I was just playing around on my home notwork and changed the MAC address of my router to the computers MAC address. I can also use a specified MAC address. Can I just put in any valid MAC address or would it have to be at least the same vendor or something...

Just go to up2date....
You won't be able to use old saved direct links .
Up2date.astaro.com is now fixed.
The sophos site despite it's billing isn't totally integrated with astaro yet .
My.astaro.com directly works from there the partner site is accessible .
