A lot of nursery rhymes seem to have some interesting back stories that you wouldn't really connect to a nursery rhyme. Any one have any ideas on this. Also exactly how old or young was the girl in the rhyme?

There are several versions and in the basic one Billy is taunted with the query "can she bake a cherry... .
This is apparently an american folk song with colonial roots, but it is basically a courtship song, teasing a would be suitor about his chosen bride .
The words of the Nursery Rhyme, 'It's raining, it's pouring' were suggested by Jerry Jacobson. Little is known about the origins of the song, but believed it originated in England. Perhaps the old man died or was drunk.

There are two ways to start a nursery business.
This is NOT a good way to spend your life if you don't have a job .
I hedged my bets, and started doing at a nursery.
In many libraries "So you want to start a nursery" Recommended.

My baby has been at nursery since she was 5 months and she is a bright little sociable being at 2 years old, nursery has never done her any harm! Try CESK to be.

But we didn't start on the nursery until 6 months last to register and start working on....
We'll just have to start thinking about her new room here soon .
We did DD's nursery to be the permanent nursery so everything is done already.
I love looking at nurseries so everyone needs to post pictures of theirs! We should be finishing up the rest of the crown molding and stuff today and then we can put some furniture together. I'll post pictures later tonight.
