I’m happy to say that after using this product for about a month I’ve lost 11 pounds of fat! About a month and some change before I started using MFP I weight about 258. I trimmed down to 245 by the time I started with MFP by working ...

So I would go with the recalculation.
As you get smaller you require less calories to do the same stuff .
My understanding is that the bigger you are the more calories you need to survive because it takes more energy for your body to do stuff .

My dad and I went for lunch, and the wonton soup is my favorite: I got a bowl for my meal, instead of just an appetizer. It's a really big bowl, meant for 3-4 people for an appetizer. I ate half the bowl, mostly just the broth. I only had two of the wontons...

I will get the actual values off my caloric intake than under-estimate....
Realise that those 'actual' values, are as much of an estimate as Nutrition Data and CalorieKing as I use the same site for my spread sheet it doesn't matter.
