Food-wine matching experiences vary....
The notion that they can't find any to match their cooking is BS .
I still think it's pretty jerky for a restaurant in NYC to have no (or just 1-2 token) NY wines, and ditto for an SF Bay area restaurant and California .

Of all....
There are now 15+ wineries in the state, some well past 20 years old, but not one grows grapes in the state that produce good every day wine .
This is a hard debate or discussion....I live in WI and there are few wines I would call, well, wines .
