I've been doing as much research as posssible before I go into this project and I can't seem to find a straight answer for putting a OBD1 engine in a OBD2 car. First off I don't wanna convert the engine to OBD2. The only answer I have come up with is ...

Into obd1 so when you determine if it will work maybe we can swap ecus or something...i tried the obd2 will find how to wire an obd1 gsr into a 6th gen.

Obd1 socket Has anyone got a pic or could they take a pic for me of the rear of the OBD1 socket on a 1995 5 litre I did a silly thing I took the plugs out of the socket to clean
them up and I think I have mixed them and put them back in the wrong position...

I did the complete obd1 harness and manifold swap on my m52, It runs good, by man oh man why does the car chug so much gas. Im getting about 14-16 MPG average and i drive like a grandma. there is a strong scent of unburnt fuel coming from the exhaust....

You also need an appropriate chip for the M52 with those injectors and... .
From there you can figure out what else might be wrong .
What year chassis? You have to connect the appropriate pin (move it) for the CEL on the big round connector by the fuse box .

Ok well i give up on making the chipped pm6 work. i got it running well ect ect but, it wouldnt come out of limp mode and i cant live with a 3500rpm rev limit lol.
so im in need of an obd1 ecu, what do you guys suggest for only running like 5-8psi boost...

I am nearing completion on the 94 LT1 obd1 wiring to the obd1 87 astro.
does any one know the circuits colors going to the terminal block there located on the firewall on the driver's side just behind where the battery would be.

Why would you wanna convert to obd1? After the discovery of the maf conversion I didnt think anyone were to convert to obd1 you will never pass inspection because the vin will still say its a 97: : I thought you were having problems getting....
