I am looking for good, objective ideas and examples of a resume for a Software Engineer. By all means, post a link to your own resume if you are comfortable with doing so.

But keep in mind that a resume....
There's no one-good-way advice is:
Put your name at the top in large font (for ease of sorting) .
Be prepared to talk about anything and everything on your resume.
Experience.

It is not specific enough and too much work to... .
I would not consider it a valuable measurement of competence in a prospective employee .
Unfortunately it might also suggest you've got too much time to spend on SO answering and reviewing questions ;) No .

I took out all the fluff.
My resume is about 2/3rds of a page, and my font is comfortable to read.
However long your resume is, don't waste the first page with nonsense like an objective (people don't company.
