Everyone says dry fire, dry fire, dry fire, and then do some more dry firing to improve your fundamentals, and positional shooting skills. If this is the case, how come most shooters dont do it?

I realize you can use a 5.25" bay for things other than a burner but that's what's usually used. Is a 5.25" bay-less case something you'd consider buying?

A 5.25 if I wanted to, seems like waaaay to much work to avoid using an optical drive.
None of my other systems have an ODD.
Need an optical drive in my primary desktop/daily driver.

Yes, that is possible, you can remove the ODD bay and put in an HDD but you will need a caddy to do Guy123 is correct - the ODD slot runs at SATA II, not SATA III.

It appears you need to open up the laptop to replace the optical drive with a HDD caddy so you can put a second hard drive in macbook pro. Am I wrong?

I have an A660 and I'm trying to make a System Repair Disk but the message "Windows did not find a CD/DVD burner comes up. I also noticed that the icon in the right hand side of the task bar says that the "Optical Drive Power: OFF".
