I use Hoppes for my surplus rifles but i am getting tired of the smell on my S&W 9mm handgun. i only use it to clean the residue off the metal parts. anyone know of a good low odor cleaner to use on the metl parts?

Just get a better filter, although the one I've started with supposedly filters chlorine odor (of which odor) but for high levels of hydrogen sulfide some form of oxidation is typically required.
