Hello there,
I had a quick flight in that brand new P-51.
But I was wondering about the oil pressure beaviour.
Around 15°C OAT. Normal grade oil. Warming up the engine to 40°C and the oil pressure is still high.
Climbing to around 32000ft and crusing ...

Will not harm the engine operation while too low oil pressure will result very quickly in bearing damage the high oil pressure, I was so scary about the plane, that I quickly dove and landed on Juist island and continued ....

So, I've just watched back an in-car video that I took while driving my AUQ engined Mk2 at Brands Hatch. It was wet and I managed to spin off at Graham Hill Bend. When I watch the video back, I can see that during the spin, the oil pressure light comes...

I have a 454 in my car that i do not know the history of besides it has a cam in it , i put a standard oil pan on it for my chevelle when i was at it i put a melling hi volume standard pressure pump on it, cold the car makes 60-70 psi but around 190 degrees...

At least that was my experience.
Hard to get to zero oil pressure without some kind of oil pump failure.
A problem with the oil pump, or an issue with what drives the pump.

Finally got my oil pressure gauge working and the results are quite discomforting!

I have some Auto RX coming thing, they said my ....
That makes me feel a little better.
It was towed in and had Zero oil pressure.
Before you get carried away ask yourself WHY the low oil pressure ? Sludge is a likely answer.

After driving the car for 2 weeks, did a TB rebuild, new clips etc and few minor things. Cranked on morning and had a awlful sound fron under the hood. Thought a idler arm or alt/pwr steering bearing had gone. By the time I got the hood opened, it quit...

The timimg cover is off.
Don't think rod bearing.
