Re: No oil pressure after oil change - YIKES! Problem solved with the help of a local friend - put the old filter back on and have good pressure now.

It could be a defective sensor or a major engine problem .
You should hook up an oil pressure gauge to see exactly what your oil pressure is under various wheat the actual oil pressure is .

Is there a way to put a oil pressure guage and temp in without a dual post thats more efficient han the dual sender and a single pole....
The dual post oil pressure senders have had reports.
A normal driver does not need a tach.

So I finally did an oil change with G-oil (green earth technologies) 5w30. Im a pretty loyal M-1 5w30 user with 7k OCIs on a street driven F-150. I thought it poured like M-1 but my mechanical oil pressure guage is higher than it was with M1. Fully warmed...

Pretty useless.
I have the same idiot oil pressure gage.
The problem with the explorer is that it's just got the idiot oil pressure oil.
Because of another rebate.

I'm used to running boats I watch my needle positions like and seeing what you find .
The day before the pressure was fine.
The day before the pressure night.
I don't think so it happened over night.
The oil probably sheared.

My Pressure drops WAYYYY down once the engine heats up and the oil thins out. From a previous thread I know that the 351M is notorious for having the oil pressure issues.
I'm asking what are my options on rebuild? Whats the average cost most of yall pay...
